Akiko lives with her father-in-law. Her father-in-law, Seong-il, does not like seeing Akiko wearing a kimono. While Jang-woo is away at work, Seong-il tells Akiko to take off her kimono. However, because Akiko is not fluent in Korean, she misunderstands him and ends up taking off her clothes right there.
